Services for James Frank Meenach, 88, of 4248 Maple St are to be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, of which he was a member.

Meenach died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at Mercy Hospital.

A native of Carter County, Kentucky, he was a retired Detroit Steel Corp employee and a member of United Steelworkers Union Local 2116.

Preceded in death by his wife, Laura Zornes Meenach, he is survived by four sons, Harvey, 4248 Maple St, Raymond, 43433 Rhodes Ave, and Haskel and James Clinton Meenach, both of Dayton; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Higgins of New Carlisle, Mrs. Kathleen Gaylord of Dayton and Mrs. Louise Jenkins of Lewisburg Rt 1; a sister, Mrs. Belva Swavel, 1337 Mabert Road; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Rev. Bud Jennings and Rev. Robert Barth are to officiate at services. Interment is to be in Memorial Burial Park.
