Mr. Larry G. Freeman, age 79 of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away early Saturday morning, September 26, 2020 at Advent Health Altamonte. Mr. Freeman was born on August 16, 1941 at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Freeman and Helen Barrett Freeman. Larry was retired from an award winning sales career in the coffee industry. After retirement, he became certified as a CNA and worked in home health care. He was an active member at Calvary Assembly in Orlando and City Church in Sanford. Mr. Freeman loved to spend time with his family. His life was filled with family dinners, card games, sporting events, and belly laughs. Larry had a unique gift of humor that made everyone he met feel like a friend. As a devout follower of Jesus, he loved to read the Bible, pray for his family, and talk about his God. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cheryl L. Freeman, as well as his children, Julie Russell (Tom), Mike Freeman (Pam), Christie Lane (Kevin); grandchildren, Alex Russell (Laura), Kutler Lane, Bailey Freeman, Jake Russell, Sara Freeman; great grandchildren, Olivia and Rowan Russell; brother, Kim B. Freeman; sisters, Lynda McDonald and Sherry Doucette; brother in law, Glen M. Stalions (Libby); several cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st at 1:00 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home located at 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL
