Mr. Meeks was a native and lifelong resident of Milledgeville having spent the past two years in Jones County. He was the son of the late Clyde Edward Meeks and the late Annie W. Miller Meeks. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Lee Meeks, Sr.
Mr. Meeks is survived by his son, Chad Meeks (Jolie) of Gray; sister, Belinda Christensen (Key) of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Jessie Mullis (Dusty); Chad Jr., Destinie, Savannah, Jolee, Brian, and Julian; 4 great grandchildren; nieces Tasha Brett (Clay); Jennifer Meeks; nephews, Jimmy Lee Meeks, Jr. (Caroline); and sister in law, Janice Meeks.
