DENISON - Funeral for Cecil F. Hardy, 77, who died Thurs. morning in his home, will be at 2 pm Sat. at Johnson-Moore Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dale Gore. Burial will be in Cedarlawn memorial Park. Hardy was born 24 Mar 1909 in Denison, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Hardy. He graduated from electronics school and married Zelda Dawson 9 Aug 1945, in McKinney. He was owner of Denison Electronic Supply, a Baptist and member of Knoghts of Pythias, Elks Lodge and the Chamber of Commerce. During WWII, he was a member of the Service Command. Survivors include his wife; 4 sons, Clifford F., Raymond and Lee A. Hardy of Denison, Larry Buchannan of Yukon, Ok; daughter, Janice Mathews of Denison;' 2 brothers, Eugene of Dallas, Herbert of Denison; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
