Cumberland, MD---Faye Noreen (Twigg) Burton, of Cumberland, died September 28, 2020 at home.
Born April 19, 1955 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Theodore W. Twigg, Sr., and Frances M. (Bloss) Twigg.
Faye was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Burton, and a brother, Theodore W. Twigg, Jr.
She was a graduate of Oldtown High School.
Faye belonged to Oldtown United Methodist Church and the Good Fellowship Club Auxiliary.
She had a heart of gold, was a hard worker, and always willing to help someone in need.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Jessica, and boyfriend Larry Ritchie; brothers Earl Twigg and wife Laura Mae, and Edward Twigg and wife Eileen; and, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 PM in the funeral home, with Pastor Charles Riggleman, officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
