Jeanne was a retired long distance operator for GTE.
Survivors include her children, Michael Kauffman, Buzz Kauffman, Ann Barnes (Bill), Patti Hauser (Jeff), Mary Kauffman (Ron Lambert), Claudia Singleton, Paula Greenwell (Mark), and Kevin Kauffman (Debbie); sister, Kathleen Treme; sister-in-law, Mae Ferres; special friend of fifteen years, Bill Oeding; grandchildren, Andy Rapier, Adam Hauser, Sarah Liggett, Peter Anderson, Jr., Shaunia Anderson, Phillip Anderson, Kayla Walsh, Kegan Mundell, Kristopher Kauffman; fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kauffman; her parents; brother, James Ferres; and sister, Sharon Nutt.
Jeanne was a lifetime member of St. Benedict Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society, loved swimming at the Y and playing bingo at Anthony Square. The family would like to thank the staff at Signature Healthcare and Dr. Prashant Patel for their care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:05 P.M. on Monday, October 5, 2020 in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Father Martin Day, OFM Conv, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visitation due to current COVID 19 restrictions. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
