He served in the National Guard and later had a successful career as a barber for over 51 years, working at Professional Barbers and owning The Hair Center and Kustom Kuts. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Louise Moss, and Dimple DeBord. He is survived by his partner, Katie Erickson; son, Jeremy Ray (Jennifer); grandchildren, Peyton Ray, and Presley Ray; siblings, twin brother, Donny Ray (Evelyn), Betty Smith (Hugh Lee), and Roy Ray (Audrey).
