Bessie Lou Bradley Moore of Granbury went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 1, 2020 in Granbury, Texas.

Bessie was born September 1, 1935 in Brad, Texas. The firstborn of Ernest and Annie Bradley. Bessie married Hardie Moore on July 26, 1955.

She was a dedicated wife, homemaker, mother, and grandmother always willing to serve others. She had the gift of hospitality. You knew when you visited, she was going to make sure you were taken care of and well fed. She loved greatly and always greeted you with open arms and smiling blue eyes. Bess learned to play piano and bass guitar in her 40’s while raising five children. She was member and pianist for 22 years at Thorp Spring Baptist Church. She was a great seamstress. Sewing her children’s clothes and making quilts. She also loved to read.

Bessie is survived by husband of 65 years: Hardie Moore; daughters: Linda Brockman, Diana Lee, Lisa Gray and husband Mike; sons: Davy Moore and wife Carol, Michael Moore and wife Catherine; brothers: Jesse Bradley, George Bradley and wife Mildred; Grandchildren: Toby Burris, Dylan Brockman, Rusty Moore, Richard Moore, Rachel Beauchamp, Dustin Moore, Hillary Raupe, and Ashley Smith; many loving great grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am, October 5, 2020 at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Hood County. She will lie in state from 12 noon to 6:00 pm on October 4, 2020 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas.
