William David Ellison "W.D." 93 went to be with his Lord Friday evening in Aspermont. Funeral services will be held Graveside 4:00 officiated By Rev. Robby Harris assisted by David Ellison under the direction of GilesMcCoy Funeral Home.

W.D. was the son of the late Virgil and Hattie Ellison. W.D. was born in Plains, Texas March 28, 1927. W.D was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church. W D married Lois Watkins in Aspermont 26, 1946.

W.D. proudly served his country in The United States Navy during WWII.

He worked in the oil field all over New Mexico and West Texas for several years. After he and his family moved back to Aspermont, he owned and operated Exxon Service Station in Aspermont for 35 years.

He served on the Aspermont City Council and was a County Commissioner for Pct.1 for 8 years until he retired.

He is survived by his Wife Lois Ellison of Aspermont, Son Danny and wife Patti of Aspermont,
Son Randy and wife Jodie of Swenson, Son Eddie Ellison of Aspermont, and Daughter Pat Martin of Aspermont, Nine Grandchildren, Twenty five great-grandchildren, One Great-Great Grandchild
