Mrs. Ruby Lee Harper was born on March 28, 1933 to the late Johnnie and Rebecca Wells.
She attended Pleasant Hill School.
On March 10, 1946, she was united in holy matrimony to J.B. Harper
and to this union, eight children were born; four girls and four boys.
Two daughters, Shirley Harper and Katherine Stubbs preceded her in
death.
She joined Spring Hill Baptist Church in Florence, MS at an early she were she served for many years until she fell ill and her health prevented her from attending.
Ruby loved cooking, gardening and being around her family.
Ruby is also preceded in death by her loving husband J.B. Harper.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children Dorothy Moore (Frank) of Richland, MS, Herman Harper (Gwen) of Florence, MS, Lonnie Harper (Nancy) of Rhode Island, Ronnie Harper (Franciose) of Rhode Island, Johnnie Harper (Wanda) of Clinton, MS and Nell Gipson Pearl, MS. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Ruby leaves behind two special friends, Minnie Lee Lewis and Johnnie Mae Lewis.
