Medical Pioneer, Lord Adrian of Cambridge. Physiologist who specialized in study of the nervous system. Won the Nobel Prize in 1932 for work on nervous impulses. He was knighted for his work in 1955. Served as President of the Royal Society from 1955 to 1960, Master of Trinity College from 1951 to 1965 and Chancellor of Cambridge University from 1968 to 1975.
