SUE THOMAS
March 27, 1951 ~ October 1, 2020

Susan Ray Thomas was born March 27, 1951 in Charlottesville, SC the daughter of Robert Pitman and June Pauline (Miller) Pitman.

Sue graduated from Rheema Bible College, loved the Lord, ministry, and church. She was an exceptional person, always had a smile on her face and one of the truest of hearts and souls. She would prepare items and made frequent trips to Dallas and surrounding areas to help others who were homeless or in need. Sue always had the time for whomever needed a shoulder to lean on or someone to talk to. She was unselfish in every way.

Sue loved spending the holidays with her family, cooking and preparing Christmas candies. She loved fishing, camping, canoeing, and road trips. Sue was a great parent, grandparent and loved her dogs, Tough and Sissy (Bonney's brother and sister). She was always seen with a smile on her face.

She is preceded in death by her mother, June (Miller) Pitman and her brother, Billy Pitman.

Sue is survived by her husband of 41 years, Les Thomas of Swink, OK; daughter, Bonney Buster and husband Robert of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Ashley Banfill and Robert Buster and fiancé NiNi;

Father, Robert Pitman and wife Marsha of CA; Brothers, Robert Pitman and wife Lisa of Oregon, Jeff Pitman and wife Kelly Bailey of Duncan, OK, Tim Pitman and wife Paige of Valliant, OK along with loved family and friends.

*Sue was an awesome person, one of a kind. I wasn't here when she passed, but I think of her often. She was a great Nana to the grandchildren, I could never thank her enough for her love toward her family. I miss seeing her funny and :-) around, always cheerful. I never saw Sue in a bad mood. *I met Sue when I started working in valliant. There was on going joke between her & I that she was my stalker cuz nearly every day I worked she'd come by the store. Every time, I asked how she was, she always replied with Blessed & highly favored. I pray God send you comfort during this time.
