In 2002, he married the best thing that happened to him, which was Leslie. Troy and Leslie have three daughters, Tana “Pete” Hoover, Whitney Holmes, and Courtney Arellano. His pride and joy was his grandkids. He loved chasing them in football, soccer, basketball, baseball, stock shows, and all the school activities. He would always be there proudly cheering them on.
He loved his cattle, farming, and ranching. He never had boys until the girls got married, and he finally got “his” boys. You would always hear him say he was a Genius to the boys. There was never a question he did not know, even if he had to make it up. He loved to hunt and do anything with the grandkids. He loved his famous “cowdog”, his toy poodle, Boomer.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Grace Hoover, and his brother Jerry Hoover
