Claudie Broxson Shirah of Chancellor passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016, in Enterprise Medical Center. She was 97.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Clifton McWhorter officiating. Burial followed in Eden Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.
Survivors included her children, Kenneth Wayne Shirah, James “Shorty” Shirah, and Genola Shirah Moring; grandchildren, Anthony and Kerri Shirah, Jamie and Penny Shirah, Stevie and Carla Shirah, and Renee Shirah Thompson; six great-grandchildren.
