Born in Garfield, Utah. Daughter of Andrew Aloff and Mary Marie West Malstrom. Married Louis D. Monson October 10, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Spent most of her life residing in Midvale, Utah. Graduated from Jordan High School. Attended Nursing School at the LDS Hospital. Employed as a registered nurse. Retiring from the Veterans Hospital. Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Enjoyed travel. Visited many countries, often with sisters. Enjoyed studying financial markets and investment strategies.
Survived by daughter JoAnn, three sons Gary Lynn (Marilyn), Paul Scott (Kristine), and Bruce Andrew (Sue), 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and sister Gladys. Predeceased by husband 38 years ago, brother Lawrence, sisters Ruby, Fern, and June; and two grandchildren Steven and Thomas.
