Mr. Jerry Lee Howell, age 68, of Lake Butler, FL passed away at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Fl. Jerry was born in Lake City, FL to the late Olan and Elsie Childers Howell. He has been a lifelong resident of Lake Butler and loved his community. Jerry served as a volunteer firefighter and retired as the volunteer fire chief. Jerry loved hunting, fishing and taking care of his family, especially his grandbabies. He was a friendly person who never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry is survived by his wife, his 2 daughters & son-in-law, his son, his 2 brothers, 6 grandchildren and numerous extended family also survive.(Names of living withheld per FAG guidelines)

A funeral service to honor Jerry will be held Monday, October 5th at 2pm at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 1pm. Interment will be at Douglas Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Rev.
