Bonnie "Ellen" Grove Rudd October 19, 1930 May 30, 2016 Ellen Rudd, 85, of Glen Burnie, Maryland went to join her Savior on May 30, 2016. Mrs. Rudd was born on October 30, 1930, to the late Ray and Geneva Grove. She worked as an elementary school teacher for 34 years, the first 8 years at Kingsley Elementary School in Sullivan County. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Wheeless; her brothers, Frank, Foch, and James; and sister, Lois. She is survived by her husband, Selvin; sons, Dwight and wife, Sharon, Steve and wife, Cathy, Mike, and Tim: sister, Margaret Shuffitt and husband, Bruce; sister-in-law, Dorothy Jane Grove; and 8 grandchildren, Danny, Casey, Max, Samantha, Bailey, Tyler, Nick, and Dane. A memorial service will be held Sunday July 3, 2016, 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, 230 Boozy Creek Road, Blountville, Tenn., with the Rev. Lewis Kizer officiating . The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church.
