Linda "Faye" Terry

Lynnville - Linda "Faye" Terry, 73, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2020 in Petersburg, IN. Faye was born June 26, 1947 in Paducah, KY. She was a graduate of Greenville High School, Western KY University (1969 & 1971), and Indiana University (1991) with degrees in Elementary Education, a Master's Reading Specialist, and a Master's of Information & Library Science. She retired from Indiana State Library in 2010, but recently worked for Boonville Public Library, Lincoln Heritage Library, Oakland City-Columbia Township Library, and was currently serving as the Assistant Director at Pike County Library. Faye enjoyed gardening, traveling to visit friends, sewing, and spending time with her family. She served as a lay person at many Southern Baptist Churches teaching and playing the piano and organ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven L. Terry; parents, John Rodman Tomlinson & Frances B. Tomlinson.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Terry; son, Matthew L. Terry and his wife Lindsay; five beautiful granddaughters, Sarah Merchant, Avery Terry, Piper Terry, Leah Hill, and Violet Terry; her loving cat, Max.
