Daughter of Abraham Fisher and mother who died in Hungary. She immigrated from Hungary on June 23, 1904, arriving in New York when she was 20. She spent most of her early life in Nashville Tennessee. Rose became a naturalized citizen in 1917. She worked as a tailoress/dressmaker and lived with her widowed aging father after her sisters had married.

She married in April of 1933 to widower Abraham Davis when she was about 50. Both were of the Jewish faith. They lived in Fayetteville, Tennessee and Decatur, Morgan County, Alabama in the late 30s and early 40s. She stayed close to her family who were mostly in Nashville and visited them frequently.

She and Abe moved to Fort Lauderdale Florida area in the mid 1940s where Abe had family. They lived half a block from the ocean at 324 Polk St., Hollywood Beach FL. Abe died in 1951 at the age of 85 and was buried in Miami.

Rose was still living at her house on Polk St until at least 1964. The last of her siblings died in late 1964 and she was named as a survivor in his obit.

She died in 1975 at the age of 90. She had no children and no immediate survivors. She is buried at Mount Nebo Miami where her husband is interred.
