Lena M. Crawford, 92, of Harker Heights, TX, joined her heavenly father on Monday, February 5, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 25, 1925, to Leroy and Lizzie Brown in Sandtuck, AL.

Lena will be buried next to her beloved husband, Clarence, at Meadowbrook Memorial Cemetery in Suffolk, VA.

Mrs. Crawford lived a long life. She had many hardships in life and lived through many historical times in her life such as the Great Depression when she was a young girl and WWII just to name a few. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Alfred Brown, William Brown; sons, Kenneth Crawford, Wayne “Country” Crawford; and grandson, Steven Crawford.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory is her daughters, Vivian Faulkner and husband, Larry, Christine Crawford; twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Seaton Hospital, Dr. Fomby, Indian Oaks Nursing Home, New Century Hospice, and Harper-Talasek Funeral Home of Belton, TX.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Hwy. Chapel.
