Mrs. JoAnn Gross, age 75, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at her home in Huron. She was born July 23, 1945 in Hardin County to the late Logan and Sarah English Boswell. JoAnn was a long-time beautician in Lexington and owned and operated the Magic Mirror Salon for many years. She was also a dear employee of Pafford Funeral Home, working visitation and taking care of families for many years. She loved reading and was an avid collector and loved yard-selling. She also enjoyed bowling and loved playing Yahtzee with her sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Billy Dean Gross and numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Billy Gross; her daughter, Kim Carrington (Brent); her brother, Buster Boswell; three sisters, Shirley White, Sally Leonhard (Allen), and Mary Parker (Charlie); four grandchildren, Jesslyn Carrington, Allie Carrington, Sarah Harris (J. C.), and Ryan Gross (Summer); and one great grandchild, Addie. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens.
