Stier, Donna, age 76, passed away on September 30, 2020 surrounded by her family. Donna was born in Glendive Montana on September 16, 1944 to Nick and Ida Seeberger. After graduating from Dawson County High School in 1962 she moved to Spokane, Washington to attend Gonzaga University and pursue her nursing degree. In 1965, while on holiday visiting her beloved Aunt Marg in Yuma, Arizona Donna was set up on a blind date. The man she met that night went on to become the great love of her life, Siegfried Stier. Donna married Sieg in 1966 and they raised three children together in Coon Rapids, Alexandria and Brainerd, Minnesota. Over those 47 adventure-filled years Donna and Sieg enjoyed a number of passions together including cooking, baking, travel, biking, gardening, and spending time at the family cabin in Montana.

Donna was a creative soul who had a passion for quilting, singing, decorating, traveling and baking - with pies being one of her specialties. She was someone who quickly made friends and was always there with a smile, advice, a lending hand and open heart. Donna’s greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, and she took special pride in anything done by her greatest treasure, her grandchildren. She will always be remembered as the rock and cornerstone of her family - loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband and soul mate Siegfried Stier.

She is survived by her children Brent Stier, Heide Stier (John) Antholz, Allen (Aimee) Stier. Grandchildren: Eric Olsen and Ben Stier, Christopher and Emily Antholz, Eva and Samuel Stier. Siblings: Ida (Dave)Vessel, Mary (David) Caudy, James (Halina) Seeberger, William (Ann) Seeberger and Helen (Joe) Jamnick.
