Nancy was loved very much by her family and her kind thoughtfulness toward others was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her kind heart was known by many with similar stories of her generosity and selflessness. Affectionately known as chief in charge, Nancy was a force. A force of strength, determination and goodness.
With her generous giving nature, she volunteered for any cause that she came across, like the PTA and making pillows for breast cancer patients.
Nancy not only had love in her heart for humans, but also for animals. She worked for the same veterinarian for over 10 years and every dog and cat that got a bath went home with a handmade bandana.
Nancy never missed a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. The cards she sent were sincere and thoughtful and sent with love. She made sure no one felt forgotten.
Nancy joked that her occupation was a professional shopper. If you needed something all you had to do was call Nancy, chances are she knew exactly what store and aisle you could find it, and if she didn't she would track it down for you.
It was been a long hard road for her, but she never stopped trying to get better. She fought her sickness with courage of someone who was determined to stay with her husband and family as long as she could. Through all her treatments and appointments she never complained. Her courage, perseverance and strength is a powerful lesson for us.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Clint, son Ira Evans (Brandy), daughter Amanda Seaton (Frank), mother Consuelo Alvarez, sisters Chicky Evans (David) and Julie Lynch (Delton), niece Jennifer McGee (Greg), grandchildren: Emma, Aubrey and Wyatt, several close cousins and friends and her special friend Kathy. She was preceded in death by father Augustine Alvarez. In lieu of flowers a donation to Susan G. Komen Foundation or Suncoast Hospice can be made in her memory. Graveside service at Centro Espanol Cemetery, 4601 E. Lake Ave. Tampa, Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11 am. Funeral arrangements provided by Adams and Jennings.
