Ms. Walters was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to Mr. James Earl Walters and Mrs. Lurline Barnes Walters on February 26, 1961. She graduated from Pelahatchie High School in 1979. She went on to pursue degrees at Draughon’s Business College, Hinds Community College, and later on got her Bachelors and Masters at Mississippi College.
She worked many different occupations and excelled at all of them. Her last job that she held for 20+ years was a Financial Coordinator Supervisor at Fresenius Kidney Care. All of her co-workers and employees loved her, even though she was a tough one to please.
She would go above and beyond for anyone. She loved her daughter, and grandchildren. They were her world. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and she adored her church family. She enjoyed taking trips and going to Disney.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Earl Walters, and her mother, Lurline B Walters. She leaves behind a daughter, Kayla Nicole Gray (Matthew), two granddaughters, Faith Daniella Clark & Paisyn Jade Gray, a grandson, James Ace Gray, a brother, Jimmy Walters, and a great aunt and great uncle along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Teddy Derrick, Casey Derrick, Mark Shaw, Brent Bowman, Sam Clark and Bill Irby. Honorary Pallbearers are Justin Shaw and Darwin Shaw.
