Shirley Lindsley-Craig, 78, of Casey, Illinois, formerly of Westville, Illinois, went to be with our Heavenly Father at 10:05am, Monday, September 28, 2020, at Casey Health Care, Casey, Illinois.

She was born on May 11, 1942, in Buck Township, Edgar County, Illinois to Ralph and Reba {Van Houten} Gates. She was wed to Charles Lindsley in 1958. He preceded her in death.

Shirley is survived by her children, Roxanna Miles, Linda (Dave) Lindsley-Ernest, and David Lindsley; her 11 grandchildren; her 6 great grandchildren; her son-in-law, Mahmood Mohsemy and her brother, Ralph (Twyla) Gates.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Cathie Mohsemy; her son-in-law, Rick Miles; her three brothers and one sister.

Shirley was known for making the best homemade chicken and noodles and enjoyed baking. She had a love of God and family. She liked listening to music and she loved to dance with her kids and grandkids. There are a lot of memories of her and her brother, Ralph, Rocking and Rolling. Most of all, Shirley loved having her family gather together for cookouts and different occasions.

A graveside service will be at Sandusky Cemetery, rural Westville, Illinois.
