Honea Path – Dorothy Mae Ables Ashley, 90, widow of James C. Ashley, formerly of Tornado Road, died Thursday, October 01, 2020 at National Health Care of Greenwood.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Garrett and Lessie Richey Ables. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was retired from the Milliken Honea Path Plant.

Surviving are a son, Jamie Ashley (Denise) of Honea Path, and two daughters, Diane Giles (Frankie) and Jan Ashley both of Honea Path, a sister Donna Sue Ashley (Winfred), eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter Judy Abrams (Mike).

Private family graveside services will be held at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
