Norma was retired from Shop n’ Save in Fairmont, where she was a deli/bakery worker. She loved yard sales, QVC channel, and Days of Our Lives. She was a member of the Teverbaugh United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children: Nora Huff of Grant Town, Nick (Marie) Harris of Mannington, Lucretia (Randy) Duckworth of Farmington, Don (Donna) Harris of Monongah, Mike (Lou Ann) Harris of Mannington, and Brenda (Garth) Heikkinen of Alabama; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a sister: Mary Lou Christian of Ohio; and a brother: Robert (June) Whittaker of Alabama. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband Jack Harris who died on July 19, 1981 and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Highway on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Josh Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow at the Shobe Cemetery in Petersburg. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, strict social distancing and masks are respectfully required.
