Kathleen Hartney Aros Ross was born in New York State in 1947, during the term of Harry S Truman. Among the many presidential libraries she went on to visit through her lifetime, his wasn't her favorite. (She preferred LBJ's library.) Kathie's life was legendary among her family, including a stint working for George Lucas on Star Wars. She kept it real, though, reminding us often that as a lifetime Democrat, she was used to losing. Recently, though, her losses began to take their toll. Although doctors were reluctant to label her cardiac issues "a broken heart deriving from Hillary's November loss", we know how she felt. One blow came after another, all followed eagerly and angrily by Kathie on CNN. With every foolish move made by Republicans, it became harder for her to even enjoy the little treats in life, of which she had a lengthy list. On April 6, 2017, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt passed on in Overland Park Kansas. Thanks, Trump. She left behind her children Lisa and Donald Aros and their spouses LA and Maria, her grandchildren Sophia, Philip, Jackie, Kevin, and too many siblings, nieces, and nephews to name. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you vote democratic in the next election. Services private.
