Helen Frances Snelling Dunn went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.
Helen was born May 7, 1927 in Columbia, SC to the late Ethel Hill Snelling and the late James Loyal Snelling. Helen attended Winthrop College. She married the late Jack Newton Dunn on December 4, 1954. They moved their family to Hendersonville, NC in 1971 where Dr. Dunn practiced urology. Helen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Dunn is survived by two daughters, Diane Dunn Hoover and her husband Alan of Indianapolis, IN and Sharon Richey Dunn McMillin of Charleston, SC; a son, Jack Newton Dunn, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth McDonald Dunn of Birmingham, AL; and four grandchildren, Margaret Frances McMillin Phillips and her husband, Jeffrey Phillips, Jack Newton Dunn, III, Coleman McDonald Dunn, and Frances Adelaide Dunn.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 14th at Shuler Funeral Home with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service for friends and family. Private graveside at Shepard Memorial Park will be held after the service.
