Katrina Ann Allen was born May 18, 1981 in Stockton, CA to John “Davey” Allen Sr. and Debra Marie (Hughes) Allen and welcomed home by big brother John D. Allen Jr. Katrina was a willful, curious, happy adventures tied haired, green eyed girl who carried this into her adulthood. Her early years were spent on her Grandma’s farm in Manteca and Tushka, OK, where she was her brothers little stunt devil. Upon Grandma’s return to CA, she settled on Oakdale as a great place to raise Katrina and her brother John.
She spent her life here in Oakdale, where she was known for being free spirited, happy-go-lucky, do as I please kinda lady. Her brother says she would wake up with a smile, looking at the day ahead with an outlook of “where’s the fun today?” It was one of those days that she met her husband/life partner Bill and started a family of her own. Katrina leaves behind four beautiful children; Anthony 19, Alyssa 16, Isaac 14, and Ethan 11.
As Katrina was called home to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, she was greeted with open arms by her Dad and Grandma. Here on this Earth many have been left behind who love her, who will never forget her, will always miss her and will never stop fighting for justice for her. We know we will meet again someday, where Katrina will be waiting to greet us with her beautiful smile and open arms.
Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
