"Pamela Jean Ramsey (Anderson), 71, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018, in McKinney, Texas, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Pam was a Monett resident for over 20 years.

Pam was born on September 2, 1946, in Burns, Ore. She was the oldest of three children of Max Anderson and Eva Mae Holiman. Pam graduated from Sierra Joint Union High School in Tollhouse, Calif., in 1964. On August 3, 1968, Pam married Billy Ray Ramsey in Los Angeles, Calif.

Pam and Bill resided in Los Angeles, Calif., Las Cruces, N.M., Ft. Collins, Colo., and Cheyenne, Wyo., before finally retiring in Monett. During their life together, they also worked side-by-side establishing and operating multiple auto dealerships.

Pam was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She found great joy from serving and entertaining her family and friends. Pam provided an unwavering light of enthusiasm, imagination, and quiet example to us all.

Pam is survived by her daughter, Michelle Banks and husband Jim, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Monett, as well as her brother John Anderson of Glendora, Calif., Pam has five grandchildren, Jaren Banks (26) and Lindsey Banks (25) of Dallas, Texas, Bethany McCarthy (21) and husband Spencer of Winston-Salem, N.C., Blake Banks (19) and Blaise Banks (14) of McKinney, Texas. Pam was also a mother to Bill's children, Mike Ramsey and wife Debbie of Windsor, Colo., Elisa Wilson and husband Randy of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Terri Kost and husband Dan of Silvis, Ill. She was preceded in death by Bill in 2004, as well as her brother Randy.

A memorial service for Pam will be held at Spring River Cemetery, Verona, Mo., on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2018, with a reception for family and friends to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made directly to The Humane Society of Missouri."
