Kim Rosetta Long passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at the age of 68. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on December 21, 1950, to Milton and Doris Hansen. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date. Kim graduated high school in 1969 and continued her education in the cosmetology field working at various beauty salons for the next 25 plus years. She met her husband Leonard Long and they married May 1970. They were blessed with two children Rayna and Matthew. Leonard and Kim's marriage lasted 43 years until Leonard's death in 2013. Kim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit will remain forever in our hearts. Kim was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Channing Gail Elizabeth, her parents and her in-laws, Homer and Christina Long; sister-in-law, Jane Elizabeth Opp; and two nephews. She is survived by her daughter, Rayna Gigaron and husband Ernie of Sioux City, Iowa; son, Matthew Long of Livington, Texas; and granddaughters, Amber Long-Montague of Midway, Texas, Naomi Montague and Lori Gigaron of Sioux City; great-granddaughter, Raelynn Edminson of Midway; sister and husband, Gail and Bill Schultz of Bryan, Texas; two brothers, Kevin and wife Sue Hansen of Hubbard, Nebraska and Steven and wife Stephanie Hansen of Vicksburg, Mississippi; six nieces and six nephews.
