Paul David Willis, 83 of Pineville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 2, 1936 in Whitley County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Jonah and Betty James Willis. Paul was a member of East Pineville Baptist Church and had been a construction foreman and a coal miner. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Opal McKeehan, Stewart Willis, Harold Willis, Burley Willis, Christine Buck, Jonah Willis, Jr., and Haldrick Willis.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Joann Simpson Willis; daughters, Charlene Willis Marsee and husband, William and Teresa Willis LeBoeuf and husband, Eugene; grandchildren, Matthew and Joseph Marsee and Lauren Leboeuf Gentner and husband, Kyle and Nathan Leboeuf; a son in their hearts, John Widener; and a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 8:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hunter and Mr. Kyle Gentner. Music will be by the East Pineville Baptist Church Choir. Entombment services will follow at 11:00 AM on Sunday at the Green Hills Mausoleum in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Honorary Pallbearers are Eugene LeBoeuf, William Marsee, Joseph Marsee, Kyle Gentner, Bradley LeBoeuf, John Widener and the men of East Pineville Baptist Church.
