Edward E. Dixon, 59, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 18, 2020.
Edward Earl Dixon was born in St. Louis, MO, April 13, 1961, to Andrew and Margaret (Uram) Dixon. Ed grew up and attended school in Sullivan, graduating with the Class of 1980. After high school, he enlisted into the US Army, where he honorably served from 1981-1988. After exiting the service, he worked various jobs through the years. He was most recently employed by Precision Metal Finishing in Sullivan.
Edward enjoyed the simpler things that life had to offer, such as fishing, reading, and spending time with his buddies. He will be lovingly remembered as someone who was always friendly and greeted you with a smile.
Edward is survived by a brother, Danny Dixon of St. Louis, MO; a sister, Carol Dixon of MN; his aunt and uncle, Linda & Gene Blankenship of Sullivan, MO; cousins: Patrick Blankenship and wife, Pam, of Sullivan, MO, Mike Blankenship and wife, Tricia, of Sullivan, MO, Wayne Blankenship and wife, Christie, of Leslie, MO, and Anna Sadler of Sullivan, MO; and numerous other cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Dixon; and numerous aunt and uncles.
Cremation arrangements have taken place. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
