Jean married Billy Ray Reed on February 11, 1956, in Scunthorpe, England. They had 39 wonderful years together until his passing in 1995. The Reeds moved to Lindsay, Oklahoma, in 1975. Jean was a member of the Erin Springs Baptist Church in Erin Springs, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her sons, Robert “Chris” Reed and wife Dawn of Lindsay, Oklahoma, David Reed and wife Sheila of Lindsay, Oklahoma, her daughter, Sandy Freeman and husband James, of Azle,Texas, twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Johnson and Lillie (Thomasson) Johnson Mant, her husband, Billy Ray Reed, her children, Billy Gene Reed, Wayne Reed, and Sonia Lacy, her daughter-in-law, Yvonda Reed, her brother, Jeff Mant, and her sister, Valorie Andrews.
