Norma Jean Jackson, 86, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on September 28, 2020.
Norma was born September 22, 1934 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to Porter and Della Weehunt.
She worked for Bell Phone Co. and later CenturyLink.
Norma was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church where she was lovingly referred to as "Grandma J".
Norma is survived by her husband of 69 years, William Jackson; daughters, Rebecca Jackson and Debra Myrick; son, William Jackson, Jr.; grandchildren, Brandi Jackson and Brian Jackson; a great-granddaughter, Lily Mannebach; siblings, Helen Saletti and Ronnie Weehunt; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanette Reeser; great-grandson, Toby Jackson; and her siblings, Loraine Shamasco and Charlie Coppenger, Jr.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Calvary Apostolic Church, 2611 Easton Blvd. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 2nd at the church. Norma will be laid to rest at Elm Grove Cemetery.
