John Steven Fraser, 61, of Camilla died Sunday, September 27, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1 at Union Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate. Social distancing will be required and masks are recommended.

Born January 24, 1959 in Colquitt, GA, he was the last son of the late Hugh Fraser and Elinor Whitehurst Fraser. He was the last Fraser of the bloodline. Mr. Fraser was preceded in death by two brothers, Reverend Hugh Fraser and David Fraser, Jr. and a daughter, Irene May. He was an insurance agent for 25 years. Mr. Fraser was an active member of Union Grove Baptist Church, until Parkinson’s made it too difficult to attend. He loved to fish. Mr. Fraser was loved by so many people.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Fraser of Camilla; five children, Wade May of Missouri, Tammy Henderson (Mike) of Camilla, April Fraser of Arlington, Jimmy May (Angel) of Pelham, and Sondra J. May (Bradley) of Camilla; grandchildren, Mikey Spencer, Jonathan Harden, Cheyenne Edwards, Jeremy Silcox, Bobby Barfield, Raven May, Brook May, and Walker May; and great grandchildren, Tanner and Keagan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, 2293 Old Pelham Rd, Pelham, GA 31779.

Visitation will be from 2 – 3 p.m. Thursday, before services, at Union Grove Baptist Church.
