Mary Lou Gomez-Davis, 76, passed away at home in Chico, CA., surrounded by her family on September 21, 2020.

Mary was born February 17, 1944 in Alturas, CA. She was preceded by her husband Arnold Gomez, daughter, parents, brothers, and sisters.

Mary is survived by her sister and brother along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, step-children, grandchildren and many friends.

She attended the Mission Full Gospel Church in Lakeport, CA. She attended as many camp meetings as possible. She loved singing. Her favorite song to sing was “When He Was On The Cross” She loved to do jigsaw puzzles, word search, crossword and sudoku. She also liked baking, traveling and being with family.

A visitation will be held from 1 – 4 pm, Thursday, October 1st at Newton-Bracewell Funeral Home, 680 Camellia Way, Chico. A wake will be held at 6 pm, Friday, October 2 at Strong Family Health Center, 1203 Oak Street, Alturas, CA. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 pm, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Strong Family Health Center. Burial will take place at XL Ranch, Alturas with a reception and food following at the Strong Family Health Center.
