Nancy was raised in Mifflinburg, PA and graduated in 1973 from Mifflinburg High School. On October 18, 1974 she was united in marriage to Richard Haines and they had three children, Hope, Jeromy, and Angela. She later married Toby Gray on March 26, 1994 and they had one child, Amanda.
Nancy spent her time devoted to helping others and worked for various organizations as an LPN. Her greatest pride was her 10 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Nancy is survived by her siblings, Gary and Catherine Strausser, Glen and Donna Strausser, Gary and Barbara Gemberling, her children, Daren and Hope Hamen, Jeromy and Lorie Haines, Angela Haines, Mark and Amanda Elmore, her grandchildren Kara, Morgan, and Carly Hamen, Taylor, Gracie, and Hunter Haines, Andrew, Matthew, and Ashlynn Wheeler, and Emmett Elmore. She is also survived by her closest friend Cheryl and husband Tony Taylor. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard “Dick” Strausser, Jr.
