Passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre; age 66 years. Curtis was born on May 11, 1954 in Saginaw, MI to the late Philip and Selma (Daenzer) List. Graduating from Bridgeport High School, he later became a sound engineer and stagehand, joining the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees union. He went on to support live music as a sound engineer and stagehand for acts like The Phantom of the Opera, Larry McCray, Prince and others. Curtis, meticulous about sound design, enjoyed building speakers (down to the woodwork casing) out of his house. In his free time, he could often be found reading or watching films and was an avid fan of anything science-fiction. He was also a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Frankentrost where he was known for his deep engagement with biblical text and his kind nature.
