Sanders, Beverly Jean (Abbott) "GG" 4/30/1947 - 9/27/2020 Beloved mother, grandmother, GG, aunt, sister, and friend, Beverly gained her angel wings on Sunday September 27th, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson. She was born April 30th, 1947 in Jackson to John Patrick Abbott and Irene Louise Howard. Beverly is survived by her son, Ron (Serena) Sanders, grandchildren Crystal (Christopher) May and Nicole (Jon) Lewis, great grandchildren Alexis and Alexander May, Anna Wright longtime companion and godmother to grandchildren, and siblings James (Cheryl) Abbott, Wayne (Phyllis) Abbott, Irene (Greg Kruizenga) Brinkle, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, older brother Jack Abbott, and older sister Barbara Trapp. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and being a part of their many accomplishments. She was a great cook and loved trying new recipes. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and her fur baby, Flash. She attended East Jackson Schools, and Jackson Community College. Over the course of her career, she worked at Mechanical Products, Kelsey-Hayes, Muskegon Motors and Jackson Public Schools Transportation Department from which she retired. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at The American Legion Post 29, 3200 Lansing Ave. Jackson, MI 49201 on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 from 2-5pm.
