LEE WELDON JAMES
January 21, 1939 ~ September 27, 2020

Lee Weldon James entered his Heavenly home surrounded by his loving family, September 27, 2020 at the age of 81.

He was born January 21, 1939 in Coleman, Texas to parents, Wesley and Ruby (McClure) James.

Weldon was a dedicated church member at Pine Top Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church there with Virginia.

He enjoyed fishing. He was a master craftsman and was always working on a project. He was a self-employed building contractor and was employed by Commercial Airlines for many years.

Weldon and Virginia were united in marriage on March 6, 2010 at Charity Baptist Church and shared ten wonderful years before his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Ruby James; son, Terry James; sister, Eloise Miller; brothers, Roy and Carl James.

Weldon leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Virginia of the home; sons, Roger James and partner, Brenda Dodson of Houston, TX, Lee Weldon James, Jr. of LA; daughter by choice, Christy Chance Towery and fiancé, Scott Ross of Broken Bow, OK;

Brother, Edward James and wife, Betty of Waco, TX; sisters, Carol Lyn of LA, Tommie Nixon of Abilene, TX and Bobbie Hamm, TX;

Grandchildren, Josh James and wife, Kiym, Sarah James, Jessica Reece, Mason Towery and wife Cali; great-grandchildren, Atticus and Atlas Towery, Cadence and Kylie James; a host of loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2020 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseph Looney III officiating.

Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
