Allen Lee Madden, 90, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020, at his home. Allen was born in Lynnville, Indiana on October 26, 1929, to the late Lester and Bernice (Austin) Madden.

He retired from Alcoa in 1988 as a production supervisor after 23 years of service. Allen honorably served in the Indiana National Guard from 1948 until 1969, earning the rank of Major. He was a longtime member of Old North United Methodist Church. Allen enjoyed traveling, hiking, camping, and riding motorcycles.

Allen is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Craig (John) of Dallas, TX; son, Jeffery Madden of Colville, WA; brother, Gary Madden (Carolyn) of Lynnville, IN; sister-in-law, Joan Madden of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Jimmy Sullenger (Michelle), Johanna Keene (Justin), Rachel Pilkenton (Kyle), Katie Craig, Zac Craig, and Haleigh Wilson (Ryan); and 11 great-grandchildren.

Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Lillian Rae (Feidler) Madden; daughter, Peggy Lee Madden; son, Gregory Allan Madden; brother, Ronald Madden; and by his parents.

A celebration of Allen's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites. Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday.
