Shane Marcus Harris was born on January 27, 1977 in Weatherford, OK to William M. “Bill” and Glenda F. “Hooker” Harris. He passed away on September 27, 2020 in Hydro, OK at the age of 43. Shane graduated from Hydro High School in 1996. He lived most of his life in the Hydro-Weatherford area. He worked for Bill Bergner Insurance, lived a short time in Nebraska where he worked as a cowboy, worked on the ranch for Jeff Dickey, worked with his parents, and worked as a wireline operator for Casedhole Solutions and Pressure Point Testing in Weatherford, OK. Shane loved to cowboy and ranch. The three things he couldn’t live without: Coors Light, Skoal fine cut, and starched clothes. He attended Southwest Christian Church in Weatherford, OK. Shane accepted the Lord in his heart on February 2, 2014.

Survivors Include: his mother, Glenda Harris of Weatherford, OK, his son, J. Cooper Harris of Stillwater, OK, his lady friend, Tonya Kitson of Hydro, OK, daughter he never had, Karsen of Hydro, OK, his siblings, Leslie Wheeler and wife Carol of Bristol, TN, Mike Wheeler and wife Cara of Binger, OK, Tommy Wheeler of Weatherford, OK, and Ashley Gaines and husband Greg of Weatherford, OK, 6 nieces and nephews, numerous other relatives, and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Harris, and his grandparents.
