Graveside services were held on Saturday May 6 2017 at 1:00 PM at Travelers Rest Cemetery in Ozark, AL.
Sister Anita Everett Parks was born January 6, 1956 to the late Oben and Luvenia Everett in Ozark, Alabama. From childhood, she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Ozark, AL. Upon graduation from Carroll High School, Anita attended and graduated from Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Al. She later received her Master’s degree from Troy University, Dothan, AL.

She was an educator for the Ozark City Board of Education for 30+ years. She and her husband served as Senior Pastors of Life changer Christian’s Church in Enterprise, AL.

Anita leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Sammy Parks, two children, Sameka Jo Parks, Daleville, AL, Sammy Parks, II, Atlanta, GA, and a step-son, Trevor Reynolds, Dothan, AL. She leaves one grandchild, Mackenzi Parks, Daleville, AL., three sisters, Cassandra Harris, Columbus, GA, Octavia Everett, Atlanta, GA and Yolanda Everett, Ozark, AL. She leaves two first cousins, Maggie Williams, Coco Beach, FL and Sam Ledbetter, Ozark, AL, her mother-in-law, Clara Parks of Dothan, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, co-workers and friends.
