Frank W. Foster, age 88, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Tuesday July 3, 2018.
Born December 18, 1929 in Melrose Park, Illinois, to Ralph C. Foster and Audrey Rose Foster.

Frank grew up in Elgin, Illinois, moving to Rockford, Illinois in 1945 and attended East High School with the class of 1947.

Survivors Include: Wife - Betty K. (Burgess) Foster of Henderson, Nevada; Daughters – Ginger M. Foster of Loves Park, Illinois, and Renee R. Foster of Kirkland, Illinois; Stepdaughter – Cynthia K (Mark) Atterberry of Henderson, Nevada; Stepson – Bruce R. (Amanda) Hanson of Naperville, Illinois; Sisters – Audrey R. (Ronald) Dierks of Caledonia, Illinois, Jennifer J. Gianvecchio of Arlington, Virginia, Merrie L. Isbaner of Evanston, Illinois, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.



Predeceased by his Parents and Sister – Marnita G. Dobson.

Frank worked at Elco Industries until 1970, then began a new career as a manufacturer’s representative for several plating companies; retiring in 1994.

He served 5 ½ years in the Navy Reserves at Great Lakes Naval Base, Wisconsin. Frank was an avid sports fan stemming from his participation in High School Basketball and Football. His love of life included his ability to build and remodel his home and a cabin in Hayward, Wisconsin, which later became the summer home where he and Betty enjoyed entertaining friends and traveling to the Las Vegas area for the winter months.

Frank was a member of Ducks Unlimited for many years and became a collector of many wildlife artists’ prints and mementos. He also loved staying in touch with his friends and family, and socializing.
