Ellen B. Jackson was born on May 3, 1948 in Norfolk, VA to Rosa Lee Daniels and Jesse Bullock. She was one of 10 children some of whom have preceded her in death. She passed from this life to an eternal life on August 30, 2020.
Ellen was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and Norfolk State University. Ellen lived a life of service. She was wonderful a wife, mother, grandmother, and professional service worker. She worked for Norfolk Social Services and was a minister of Baptism at the Basilica of St. Mary’s. She also served as a member of St. Mary’s Academy school board. Ellen joined St. Mary’s as a young woman and remained an active member until her passing. Ellen was a great friend and had a huge impact on everyone who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 49 years Otis Jackson, daughter Adrienne, her granddaughter Lailah, son-in-law De’Meaco, and a host of wonderful family and friends.
A service will be held 12 noon on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Basilica of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
