Clayton Walker Jones, 23, resident of Kite, Georgia, died unexpectedly Friday as a result of an automobile accident.
Clay was born in Emanuel County, son of Regina Davis Jones of Kite and Jamie Ray Jones of Twin City.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Otis Dean Davis, and his uncle, Roy Jackson.
He was a graduate of Johnson County High School and Emmanuel College. Clay was a member of BAMM Archery and Emmanuel Archery at Emmanuel College. He was employed as a Fed-Ex driver. Clay attended First Baptist Church of Kite.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 30th at 3:00 P.M. from the Davis -Jones Family Cemetery , 326 May Road, Kite, Georgia 31049, with Reverend Burton Dixon officiating. Pallbearers will be Montana Foskey, Chris Jordan, Jeremy Jones, Jonathan Jones, Terrell Colter, and Jimmy Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Davis, Seth Purvis, Wade Claxton, and Nate Wood. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 until 2:30 P.M.
