Rose Ann Carter, 93, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, September 5, 2020 at her home.

On June 23, 1927, she was born to Raymond and Blondina (Rappelt) Bour. She married James F. Carter on October 8, 1947 and he preceded her in death January 5, 2012.

Surviving is her daughters; Vicky Spade Bravo of Mapleton, GA; Mary Rose Smith of Washington Courthouse; Joline M. Gongwer of Tiffin; son, Jeff Carter of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 64 years, daughters, Karen Ann Hill and Cindy Koch, grandchildren, Holly Marie Gongwer and Andrew Lee Smith, brothers Dan and Jim Bour and sisters, Jeanne Keiffer, Mary James and Betty Bender.

Rose Ann was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and worked at the Hello Shop at Westgate for years. She enjoyed playing cards, BINGO, crocheting, going to area festivals and her weekly Backgammon games with her friend, Rita Goshe.

A private visitation and service will take place for the family. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or to Meals on Wheels.
