Nancy was the daughter of Olan Jeffreys and Mary Hite Jeffreys and a native of Keysville, Virginia. She married Dick Smith in 1951 and they had two sons. She was a fabulous mother and grandmother and a friend to all. She was an active and dedicated member of Ardmore United Methodist in Winston-Salem and taught three year olds in their Through-the-Week School for many years. Dick and Nancy were beloved by many.
